Sir Reginald Featherstone was, by all accounts, an excellent early bird.

Everyone told him the same thing: The early bird gets the worm.
He was young. Ambitious. Very good at being early.

Then he met her.

He was supposed to eat her but as the fates would have it he kept her portrait instead.
We don't know exactly what happened between them. Perhaps it was friendship. Perhaps it was love. Perhaps she simply said something to him one morning that changed everything.

Whatever happened, Reginald never forgot her. And frankly, neither will you.

Part of Meet the Aristocrats, a collection of small original paintings about creatures with names, private histories, questionable priorities and remarkably human attachments.

A little ridiculous. A little touching. Very serious about the moustache.

Buy it for : Someone who has never been particularly interested in doing things the expected way.
Someone who chose love over logic.
Someone whose best friendships make absolutely no sense on paper.
Someone who left the sensible path for something that felt more like them.
Or simply someone who would appreciate a painting of a bird who fell in love with his lunch.

Place it in
At 10 × 10 cm, Reginald is made for the little spaces that deserve something interesting.
A bookshelf, bedside table, study, home office, dressing room, hallway, reading nook, gallery wall or bach.

Somewhere people can discover him rather than simply walk past him.

You're buying the character, the story and the feeling of having something in your home that makes you stop, smile and tell someone else the story.
